The Thomas DISC Profile SystemThe Thomas International DISC profile system is an online assessment tool that looks at behaviours or personality in the workplace. It has been employed for over half a century to help businesses recruit and manage their employees. The DISC profile system is used by human resources, business managers, recruiters, team leaders and small business owners in all aspects of talent management and performance management including, recruitment and selection, performance reviews, job evaluation, job fit, employee training, team building, leadership development, and managing and motivating employees. The DISC profile system is made up of three parts. The Personal Profile Analysis (PPA) is an online personality test or profile that assesses an individual’s behaviour in the workplace. The assessment is made up of 24 forced-choice items and takes less than ten minutes to complete. Once complete, you select from a menu of 16 different reports from the individual's DISC results.
The Human Job Analysis (HJA) and Job Create are job evaluation tools to identify job demands for recruitment or development. These job evaluation tools are also made up of 24 items and takes into consideration your corporate culture. The resultant job profile combined with the personality profile allow you to create a job fit report ranking your candidates. Finally, Thomas International's DISC profile system contains the Team Culture Analysis (TCA), a tool used to define and build teams, typically used in corporate team building workshops. The team development tool allows you to analyze your team in minutes providing a detailed and comprehensive team report and gap analysis that will help you ensure your team is aligned with business needs and working optimally. Thomas International provides DISC training for certification in the DISC profile system.
