Thomas International Training

All Thomas International users must be certified to use and apply the Thomas DISC systems and DISC assessment tools responsibly and effectively within legal guidelines. Our experienced consultants provide facilitation and support. We offer regular training in various locations across Canada and the United States.

Personal Profile Analysis DISC Certification Training

The Personal Profile Analysis DISC certification training is a two-day course that will teach you the DISC system, what it can do for your people, and how it can help your business. It explains the background and theory of the DISC system and the terminology used.

The PPA DISC Certification Training equips you with practical skills such as how to read a PPA assessment, how to give feedback and how to modify your behaviour to more effectively manage your team. You will also learn how to administer the assessments, when and which reports to use and how to apply the Thomas DISC system to benefit your organization.

Course participants receive a pre-course and post-course tutorial with their consultant showing how to use the software, website and the reports in order to start impacting your business positively. Consultants continually work with clients to develop the application of the system to best support your human resource and business strategy.

Tests for Selection and Training, Aptitude Test Certification

This one-day course provides an indepth review of each test, and teaches proper administration and interpretation of results. Use of the TST aptitude test in conjunction with the PPA personality assessment and job benchmarking is covered.

Thomas PPA System Advanced DISC Training

This one-day course uses case studies to review advanced applications of the Thomas DISC System for benchmarking, performance management, team building and employee development.

Behavioural Descriptive Interviewing (BDI) Workshop

This is a one-day workshop for interviewers within an organization that provides information on the talent finding and selecting process from start to finish. The emphasis is on effectively conducting a behavioural interview and effective use of the Thomas DISC System in the selection process.

Thomas Team Culture Analysis (TCA) Training

Your consultant provides this three-hour complimentary training upon completion of the PPA DISC Certification Training. The TCA training teaches you how to complete the Ideal Team Culture Analysis questionnaire with a manager or team, and how to use the Team Audit report optimally within your organization.

In addition, you will learn how to use the Team Audit as a development and diagnostic report with the manager or the entire team. The training covers the nine team role factors found in the report and their application to team work. It enables the trained user to build on their knowledge and further apply behavioural analysis to team development, with a view to helping team members optimize on their strengths and respect their differences.

PPA DISC Certification
We cover Canadian Human Rights and EEOC guidelines for responsible use of the Thomas DISC systems - this training is required for use of the Thomas DISC systems.

Maximum learning is achieved through a small class size, therefore seating is limited.
