Personal Assessment Centre: Third Party Independent ReviewThe Thomas Personal Assessment Centre (PAC) provides a completely independent review and assessment of an individual. It provides the objectivity required when assessing a candidate for a key position or to coach a current employee. A PAC can support employers in assessing candidates, counselling non-performers, appraising key members of staff, identifying training needs, and understanding how to motivate individuals. The PAC is conducted on a one-to-one basis and is comprised of a two-hour series of tests, including the Thomas Personal Profile Analysis (a personality test), the Thomas aptitude or ability test and an in-depth interview by a Thomas senior consultant.
Once the battery of tests and an in-depth interview is complete, we provide you with an objective and detailed report about that individual. This assessment eliminates bias and saves you time and money. The PAC includes the following test batteries:
The Test Batteries The Thomas aptitude test is called Tests for Selection and Training (TST). The TST aptitude test is used to test perceptual speed and accuracy; logic and problem solving; verbal reasoning; numeric aptitude; ability to hold information in memory; and spatial orientation. Along with the Personal Profile Analysis personality test, we collect information related to the individual's behavioural style at work, their strengths and potential limitations and their motivators and fears. The competencies might include some or all of the following: goal setting, communication skills, management skills, customer care ability, organization and administration skills, people skills, ability to handle conflict, sales skills, decision making abilities, personal qualities, ability to delegate, problem solving skills, planning skills, time management, technical skills, self-awareness, and training needs. The Final PAC Report The final PAC report is a summary of the information and correlation of results, including the TST aptitude test results, summary of the interview discussion, personal profile analysis report and competency data.
